This is lame is popular among competitive fencers who like light fencing gear. It is very light and soft. Some say that the touches are not as easy to register on this lame, because the fabric is smooth. It oxidizes a bit faster than a regular lame, and not washable, but the benefits that you get supersede (just recycle the old one and get a new one!) The color is bright white, and is harder to see as a target as well.
